Megan and Jay had a wonderful location in mind when we scheduled this session. The only way I can describe this place is that it’s  an Italian-inspired concrete village. We walked through archways and domes of carved and styled concrete that implemented the natural surroundings of the Sonoran desert as the landscaping. We had so much fun exploring that photographing came easy. I’m so glad they were open to new ideas; the adventure really paid off.

I met these five wonderful laides for a photoshoot in downtown Phoenix last night. They were on vacation from Japan for a scrapbooking convention and booked me to capture some portraits in the desert. Here’s a sneak peek while I work on the rest of the images.

This evening was blistering hot, but this lovely lady took it in stride. She was full of laughs and energy and it didn’t take much to get all of us smiling. Enjoy your sneak peek Melony!
